We were contacted by Nigel Pearce (BNI) of Wokingham Cricket Club regarding on-going leaks occurring to the terrace roof section of the cricket club. The roof section had been constructed as a new build extension roughly 3-4 years ago (main contractor un-disclosed).

The ultra light RENOLIT ALKORSOLAR fixing system makes it possible to attach solar panels onto the roof without the need of extra ballast or perforation of the roofing membrane. The development of the system has taken into account the abilities of PVC roofing membranes to have compatible elements welded directly to them. The method will allow a variety of different solar panels to be installed quickly and cost effectively.
An electronic integrity leak test was carried out to confirm various penetrated sections mainly to the roof light details. A Renolit Alkorplan A system was our preferred choice of waterproofing system, adhered to mechanically fastened 30mm TR27 tissue back insulation recovery boards. Renolit Alkormetal flashings installed every roof light giving a clean dress and watertight finish all round.
